    USB Speakers on Windows 7

    Dear All,

By default, USB speakers does not work on Windows 7. Here are the simple steps to change before it takes on USB speakers.

    1. Go to “Control Panel”

    2. Click on “Hardware & Sound”

    3. Click on “Manage audio devices”

    4. select the USB speaker as default speaker

    5. click on the default speaker then click on “properties”

    6. click on the “enhancements” tab

    7. and checked the box for “disable all enhancements”

After going thru the above step, the USB speaker should work well.

Apart from the manual steps, any patch to let it accept USB speakers by defualt?

Another way through which you can make the things to work out well by disabling the services that is active by default in Windows 7. You need to Hide all the Microsoft services under the selective startup tab in the msconfig section. Disable the services and then check out.
