Error with MediaSmart software

Hello,

I have a laptop, i.e HP pavilion dv6 1320sf from past few days and problem is I can not use hp media smart. I gets Error messages when i try to use it. What can be the reason for problem? I gets this error : Error message-HP MediaSmart TV resident program has stopped working, and MediaSmart doesn't responds me.

Download latest updates from HP for your laptop and install them on your PC , download updates according to the operating system you are using.

Test an update, depending on the version of your OS from the following link ...

If it does not helps, reinstall the software and updates!

Same problem for me. I tried an update as it has done nothing I reinstalled the software but the error persists. I also contacted the support that I have still not contacted, I have a notebook pc pavilion dv6.

Which operating system you are using? Which version of windows? Are using 32 bit or 64 bit operating system? Have you done through reinstall and updates? Have you installed the updates after reinstall?

I had the same problem with HP Mediasmart. That's a pb related to an incompatibility with the box and / or WiFi. When I pull box, Mediasmart works normally. I don't know how i did i manage to solve the problem, is the same case when you try out the safe mode? i remember that i went to safe mode and i did re-installation, this may solve your issue.
