Download and install Stellar Phoenix Outlook Express Recovery. Excellent recovery application for repairing e-mail folders Outlook Express if they are damaged or corrupted. Software scans the mailbox, extracts and saves e-mails from. Dbx. Once installation is complete, run the program. Click on "Find DBX." Dbx files that reside on your computer are listed.
Outlook Express stores messages in different folders (Outbox, Inbox, Deleted Items ...) and each Outlook Express folder is a file format .dbx. These files are stored in the archives.
By default, XP and Windows 2000, this place is under the tree C:\Documents and Settings\SESSION\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\USER_ID\Microsoft\Outlook Express
- SESSION : Name of the Windows session being
- USER_ID : A unique number identifying the Outlook Express (in the form 8-4-4-4-12 ()).
Select menu commands Tools / Options / Maintenance / Store Folder. To find the file .dbx corresponding to a specific folder Outlook Express, click the right mouse on the folder you want to know the file .dbx (eg, right-click the folder in Outlook Express Deleted Items) and select the menu Properties.
To find the paths to storage folders for each identity, you can look in the registry:
Open each key HKCU/Identities/USER_ID ({8-4-4-4-12}) and read the data value Username. Continue to roll the keys to Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0. The path of the hive is registered in the value string Store Root.
- Use the standard search tools in Windows: "Start | Search".
- Select search "For Files and Folders".
- As the search string, type *.dbx and click "Search Now".

Are you sure that you did not delete those .dbx files.
If you are sure then try this out:
- Open Outlook and select the tools menu
- Go to options
- Click on maintenance menu item
- Open the store folder
- Find the corresponding .dbx file by opening the properties of each folder
