Partition Magic for Windows 7

Hi,
How does Partition Magic works on Windows 7. I was using this on my Windows XP computer. Now I had installed Windows 7. The old one does not works on it. I need the Windows 7 version of this software. Will the same works on the latest operating system relevant to types of different drives and standards use in them. Thanks in advance.

Partition Magic allows you repartition a hard disk without erasing the information contained therein. This new version allows to merge two NTFS partitions, recognizes the drives above 160GB, supports Windows XP and allows you to partition disks External USB 1.1/2.0. The new version works smoothly on Windows7 and easy to configure also.

Other features from the previous version but they are still small effect: merge two partitions (merge), cutting a partition into two with the ability to set records in one or other of the partitions, redistributing free space on multiple partitions. It works smooths on Windows Vista. It is quiet to run on Window 7 also.

Today there are several freeware / free tantamount to partition the software Partition Magic pay and an excellent alternative. So if you are worrying about running this one then are are other alternative also. For security reasons, it is best to start QtParted on a system of independent disks that you want to modify (problems mounted file systems, synchronization, etc..). For this, the simplest system is to use a bootable CD distribution.

Parted Magic LiveCD is a program for hard disk partition, CD or USB key. But in any case, this is not a means of backup CDs. The program allows to optimize approximately 45 Mb, it uses the processor of Gparted and Parted to take in hand the task partition. A collection of tools of system files is included in the program such as ext2, ext3, ext4, FAT16, FAT32, HFS, HFS +, JFS, Linux-swap, NTFS, ReiserFS, Reiser4, and XFS.
