Why Yahoo Messenger Voice Chat doesn't work in Windows Vista?

Hi,
I am using Windows vista as operating system, and I use Yahoo Messenger for chatting, there no problem with the text chatting, also I able to see my friend’s video when he start the web came in Yahoo Messenger, but problem start when I start to voice chatting that time I not able to hear my friends voice and he also notable hear my voice. Can anyone give me suggestion Why Yahoo Messenger Voice Chat doesn't work in Windows Vista?

I think this is not your Windows Vista problem this is your Yahoo Messenger problem, because I also use same thing I use Windows vista and yahoo messenger for chatting. I think you use old version of yahoo messenger and because of this you not able to voice chat with anyone, for solving this problem you have to update your Yahoo messenger or download the fresh and latest installation from the internet. You can able to download the setup from the yahoo’s official site, this is a free download. I think because of old yahoo version you not able to voice chat with any one, use this solution and solve this problem.

This is not big issue, I also face this problem I also not able to hear my friend and he also not able to hear me because that time I format my computer, I download the latest version of yahoo messenger but the problem still occurring I not able to solve this problem but after some days I just saw the headphone connector I and I shocked because I swap my headphones connector and because that I not able to voice chat with my friends, I think you also check the connector I think because of this you not able voice chat. Try this solution also.

Use following steps for solving your problem
• Login as administrator
• Download latest version of Yahoo Messenger.
• Vista Voice Fix and follow onscreen instructions,
• Download the DSP group Truspeech Codec
• Then install it, and restart your computer
• Start yahoo messenger and start voice chat

I give better solution for that because I also face this same problem for solving this problem I format my computer because it is virus problem, I again install the new operating system and download the latest version of yahoo messenger and after that I able to do voice chatting with my friend, and you have to also check there some time audio drivers goes corrupted and because of that you have to face this problem. Using this solution you able to solve your problem.
