Don't know how to clear history of web browser

Hello friend,

I have recently taken the internet connection for personal use. I am not completely familiar with the web browser. I don't have any idea about how to delete the history of web browser. I think advantage of deleting history is that nobody can see the web sited that I visited. Do you know how to clear history of web browser? if yes then please let me know that. Your help would be appreciated.

If you are using Internet Explorer then you can try following steps to clear the history of web browser:

• First open IE and then choose Tool menu.
• Then select Internet Options
• Then you need to select Content option
• After this select the on Autocomplete option.
• Then check the three boxes as well as select clear forms.
• Finally click on OK.

First let me know the which internet browser are you using? If it is 'Mozilla Firefox' then you can try below steps to clear history:

1. First you need to open the Firefox web browser.
2. Then go for 'Tools'.
3. Then select 'Clear Private Data'.
4. Then you should check Browsing History and Search History for verification.
5. After this select 'Clear Private Data'.

Each browser has different setting for clearing the history. You have not mentioned for which browser you wanted the procedure to clear the history. In most of the internet browser you will get the 'clear history' option in the 'Tool' menu. For Opera, Firefox, Internet Explorer 7 and for Internet Explorer 6 web browser you will get the clear history option in the 'Tool' menu of the main menu bar. I hope it will give you some idea about clearing the web browser history.

I am using the Mozilla Firefox web browser. I have did the same procedure as mentioned above while clearing the history of web browser. I also tried the over the Internet Explorer 7 and it was also successful. I got the 'clear history' option in the tool menu of the Internet explorer. I also get the option to delete the cookies of web browser.
