Expression Web 2 freezes under Windows 7

Hi. Well I use a Hp pavilion notebook with windows 7 installed as the operating system in it. I have installed Expression web 2 software in it. the problem I face is that after I upgraded the system with windows 7 the software freezes. Why is this happening? Please help me out. Hope I might get a solution for the same. Thank you.

As you said that your software freezes while you have upgraded your system to windows 7. This is basically the thing that concerns and comes with respect to compatibility. A compatibility issue is the worry for the thing that your software tends to get freeze while using under this operating system. Use the software under Windows XP operating system. This may work out for you well. Check out.

Try to execute the software under compatibility mode that is execute it under safe mode. This is quite possible that running the application under safe mode may let you to work well with the operating system. This is basically because safe mode has low features as compared to the live windows 7 features and do not possess any compatibility issues wit it. So it would be better that the software should run under the same.

Upgrade the software pack in order to work it with windows 7. Check on the update for the software on its official site for windows 7. This should help you to access the program under the operating system that you are using. Other than this you can also reinstall the software pack by uninstalling the previous one. This may help out to sort the problem that you are facing.

You should run a clean boot for making the things to work well. Follow the steps as given below:

* Go to start menu and click on it.
* Go to the run command and type msconfig.
* Now on system configuration utility check on.
* Hide all Microsoft services should be activated.
* On the startup tab disable all services and then click ok.
* Save settings and restart.

Clear the cache memory using property dialog program. This shall help in clearing all the files that is been using up the memory unnecessarily and thus making the system to process faster. You have to check out for the temporary files that has been using the space. You have to clean the files by running a disk cleanup wizard from the property option given in each drive. This should help you out.

Have you checked compatibility?
Just an FYI for you.

It is always best to check with the software manufacturer FIRST. They will tell you if they have tested the product and the version, as well as whether or not it will work with Windows 7.

In any event a lot of the times, Vista drivers will work in lieu of Windows 7 drivers, however, it's not 100%!

As stated previously, it's best to have the Windows 7 certified drivers installed.
