    Relationship among tables in access

    What are the ways to create relationship among the tables of different database of the Microsoft Access 2007. I want to examine the relationship which is created between all the tables. There are around 5 tables related to employee record. What are the steps for the same. If I get an additional information of this it will be better.

    Here are some possible solutions which help you to relate tables and different types of relationships that can exist between two tables in a database. If you do not know what a database connection, then better skip this and try to understand the basic concepts to understand the relationships.To create relationships in Access 2007 you must first access to the Relationships window we click the Relationships button located on the Tools tab in the database.It will display you option here. This is the starting point.

    Like this you can make the relationship among tables in access. To create this the first relationship go to tools. Click on Show Table dialog box on the right waiting tables indicate that the relationship will be part of creating. Select one of the tables belonging to the link by clicking on it, that table will appear highlighted.Click on the Add button. Add up the databases here.

    By adding table in the Table dialog box you can simply create relationship among all the tables. In the box go on the relationship field in the main table (in our case code). Press the left mouse button and holding until drag the field number of the child table . Release the mouse button after you finish the process.

    In the relationship box at the top should be the names of the two related tables (aulaClic_clientes and aulaClic_Facturas) and below them the names of the fields of relationship (code and number). Should always be fields that contain the same information and therefore the same type. At the bottom of the connection type to be assigned depending on the characteristics of the fields of relationship (in our case one of several).

    Here are some more settings which can help you out for working on relationship. It is recommended that enable Enforce referential integrity box by clicking on it. If desired, the boxes can be activated surge Update Related Fields and surge Delete Related Records. Find out more about referential integrity and cascading operations. Finally, click on the Create button.This creates the relationship and it will appear in the Relationships window.
