Need information on USB Secure

I need information on USB Secure. some of my friends have suggested me this software to keep my USB drive secure. But, I do not know how the drive actually works. What are the advantages of using USB Secure in the system? What are its key features? Is this the only software available to keep the USB drives protected? Does all the operating systems support USB Secure? Kindly help me with some replies as soon as possible.

USB Secure can be used to protect the USB drives with password. The following are drives that be protected:

• Flash drives

USB Secure starts automatically as soon as you insert a USB drive and asks for the password. If you enter the password, then only you can use the drive.
