Reduce the ribbon size in Powerpoint 2007

    Hi,
I have a Windows 7 computer with Office 2007. The problem is that the interface of PowerPoint 2007 is completely new to me. First of all the broad menu up called ribbon eats up the entire desktop. How to reduce size of ribbon. Is it possible to create similar menu of PowerPoint 2003 in the new 2007 version. If yes then how. I also want to add some button to the Quick access toolbar. Also post the settings to view files simultaneously. Does the new version has a spellchecker features like word.

Yes it is possible to reduce the size of ribbon on PowerPoint 2007. That too is easy and needs some keyboard keys. If you want to increase your workspace you can reduce the size of the ribbon in several ways. By using the Ctrl + F1 you hide the tape, simply retype this combination to make it appear. But if you permanently want to disable that then click the Custom button on the toolbar Quick Access, and select from the list Minimize the Ribbon. You will not see the titles of tabs, it will click one you want to see again show the tape.

You can also access this dialog by using the Office Button, PowerPoint Options and then in the Customize. In the first combo you'll find commands for all Ribbon tabs, just select the desired tape, select the button and add it to the toolbar quickly. In the second list box, you can add buttons to the Quick Access Toolbar from the application or the current file. This allows you to have a toolbar for a quick custom PowerPoint file.
