    MPEG Video Compression Filters required

Hello, I am using Windows Xp operating system and currently I want to capture the MPEG format video from my Visual Basic 6.0 application. For this purpose I want to use the MPEG Encoder and tried some of them. But, I don't get any type of good quality compressor. So, if anyone of you having good quality compressor then please give me name and details about that. Thank you in advance.

Hi, You need to use the 3ivx Filter Suite. You can create mp4 files which can have MPEG-4 Video and MPEG-4 Audio. Basically it is a DirectShow component and it is video for windows codec or a quicktime component. You can make use this as per your requirement for MPEG video compression. So, you need to use it for interoperability. You can use it on your required platform.

Re: MPEG Video Compression Filters required

For MPEG Video compression most of the time I use the BIGSPEED Video Compression SDK 1.0. Though it is simple to use, it will provide you the high quality of compression. It uses single COM automation object. DirectX9 is required for this purpose. You can set capture format and frame rate as per your requirement. It also make small use of your cpu and also provide you responsive user response. So you can use it.

Re: MPEG Video Compression Filters required

For Video Compression filters I mostly use the Binary Compression 79 1.4.0 or
6-bit binary compression 1.3.3. Both of them provide you user friendly environment. 6-bit binary compression 1.3.3 provides you a fast 6-bit binary compression. You can use it simply from the command prompt and can compress any file from your computer. Both of this software can work on any Windows based operating system. I think this will solve your problem.
