I have a old windows system. The system has 256MB of RAM and a 80GB hard drive. It is an AMD supported system. I am no using internet on it. I had also installed a new DVD RW in it. Now I had installed Nero to create some backup. It is showing an ASPI issue. How to fix it. After installing the system works slow and crashes very frequently.

Different software, particularly the burning software, require ASPI drivers to manage CD players and recorders. If you do not already have then download it from Windows site. Users of Windows XP copy this file into the directory "c: \ windows \ system32" (if Windows XP is installed in another directory, make the appropriate changes). Updating this will fix out your problem.

Perhaps, when connected to the Internet or launch of a software error messages on the screen, or even Windows crashes with a blue screen. Explorer has caused an error in module Kernell32.dll or Msgsvr32.dll. This problem "may" be that the file for the password before Windows starts to be damaged. To resolve this problem, follow these steps, in the Start menu, click on the Find command, and then click Files or Folders. In the search window, click the tab name and location in the Named box, type pwl. In the Look In box, select your hard drive (C: \). Click Find Now. A list of files with the extension PWL appears. In this list, select the file and press [DELETE] on your keyboard to delete them. The next time Windows starts, Windows will ask you a new password and from then these messages disappear and blocking. If you do not want a password, simply leave the leave the password field blank.

Make sure your devices have the latest drivers and, if possible, certified: go directly to the manufacturers' websites or ask your dealer or visit Help drivers. If you have many devices installed or if you've overclocked any components on your machine (forced frequency): Make sure the temperature inside your CPU is not too high and that ventilation is correctly. If you have multiple memory modules: remove them one by one and restart your machine (sometimes a bad bar blocks the functioning of the PC). If you just installed a new device: remove it and see what happens.

Verify that there is no hardware conflict. To check whether a conflict between the various components in your PC, click with right button mouse on the My Computer icon on your desktop, then on the menu that appears, click Properties. In the window that opens, click on Device Manager and check if there is an exclamation point next to one of the lines. If there is none, the problem lies elsewhere. Take Part Reduce the acceleration of the display below. If an exclamation point, double-click the line that features.
