DRM activator has stopped working

Before yesterday, my system was working fine and I was able to play the games. From yesterday, whenever I try to open the game an error message pops out stating that DRM activator has stopped working. Then I rebooted my machine but I am facing the same problem. Is there any bugs in my PC or the game I was trying to open has been corrupted. Please help me.!

Do the following steps to solve the DRM activator error message :

1. Right click on "My Computer" icon placed on your desktop.
2. Then select the properties which is the last option.
3. After going in properties click on "Advanced" tab button.
4. The first option will be of performance, click on setting that is placed in performance option.
5. Now click on Data Performance Settings.
6. Enable the Option TURN ON DEP FOR ESSENTIAL WINDOWS PROGRAMS AND SETTINGS ONLY by checking that radio button.
7. Lastly, click on Apply followed by OK.

One more solution when DRM activator stops working.
Go to the Control Panel and double click on user account. You can also type user account into the search box. Once it gets opened then you will find a link for "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off". Just uncheck that option. By default it will be checked. After completing this process reboot your system.

This error usually pops when playing the game. Try to do setting mentioned by Eric B if your OS is Windows XP or 7. If you are using Windows Vista, then do settings according to Macarenas. Doing one of this will definitely solve your problem. If it still persist then try to remove that game and check the requirement needed for that game. Otherwise, try repairing your OS.
