A serious error was detected. Adobe InDesign is shutting down

    Hi,

I suddenly had problems with Indesign CS2. I'm also running Mac OS 10.4.5 Tiger

When starting or opening a Indesign Indesign doc. is a window with the following error: Adobe InDesign is shutting down. A serious error was detected.

I've thrown away all my preferences and deleted files Adobefnt.lst.
I also reinstalled Indesign, unfortunately without result.

Who has encountered the same problem and has the solution?

Have you tried the following things :
    - To re-installation of Adobe CS2
    - Update via Adobe Update
    - Repair permissions
    - Clearing font cache
    - Slows everything "AdobeFnt" files
    - Destroying the InDesign Preferences located in ~ / Library / Preferences / Adobe InDesign /
    - The launch of InDesign on a different user account

To remove the error, disable the Sing plug-in.

    1. Start InDesign but do not open any files.

    2. Choose Help > Configure Plug-ins (Windows) or InDesign > Configure Plug-ins (Mac OS).

    3. Make sure that a custom set is active, and then deselect the Sing plug-in.

Note: When you enable or disable plug-ins or choose a different plug-in set, the change doesn't take effect until you exit and restart InDesign.

If it doesn't solve by disabling the Sing plug-in. Try to re-create the InDesign preferences files.

    1. Quit InDesign.

    2. Rename the InDesign SavedData file and the InDesign Defaults file (for example, to InDesign SavedData.old, InDesign Defaults.old) in the following location: [user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/[Version].

    3. Start InDesign. InDesign creates new preferences files.

    4. If the problem persists, you can restore the original preferences by deleting the new files and renaming the old preference files back to their original names.

For my part, with Ind. CS5, no problem crash by cons.
The generation of PS files is super fast, the updated image too; The paste copiers are rapidly replacing the search function works fast too. No, the only problems I have is:
    - Sizing of objects: it's slow graphically
    - Moving objects grouped: ream too (there are more objects in the group and it's slow)

As to the question above to make trips with the arrows between the letters in a text block, I found nothing in the preferences or shortcuts. Only for moving blocks it out with arrows. I wish I could combine those two functions as in CS3. If someone had a solution ... Thank you
