Opening docx files in Word 2000

Hello,

Here I will explain my problem. They sent me a docx file (ie Word 2007) by mail and when I open that file in my Word 2000 it is impossible to open that file . it seem to impossible and Difficult , i think I cannot successfully open the docx in Word 2000. If someone knows how can i open the docx in word 2000 then , it would be nice. please help

In trying to open a Word 2007 document with Word 2000 ', you may get an unreadable document since Office 2007 has changed its structure , The easiest way is to go to the Microsoft Update site, and please check the Office updates. I did this last week and in fact you can then open and edit files in Office 2007!

Just download and install the compatibility pack for Microsoft Office file formats Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007. Note that you first make the critical updates, from Windows Update before installing this compatibility pack After installing the pack, you can open a DOCX file with all versions of Office like office 2000 for example, which normally is impossible! If necessary, this pack can be removed via Add & Remove Programs!
