Outlook 2007 IMAP Folder Display Errors

Whenever i try to access IMAP folders my Outlook 2007 crashes. It display error message "Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot access the specified folder location." Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

• Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
• Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\RPC
• On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
• Type ConnectionType, and then press ENTER.
• Right-click ConnectionType, and then click Modify.
• In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, make sure Hexadecimal is selected, type f in the Value data box, and then click OK.
• Exit Registry Editor.

Have you tried restoring your computer? Have you done a virus scan on the pc?Make sure the Everyone group in Public Folders has "create named properties in the information store" allowed with NO Denies.

Can you check mail account and data file that is set as default on your desktop,this problem can occur in outlook 2007 You need to set the correct permissions on the mailbox. You should set the permissions using the Active Directory Users and Computers Tool not the Exchange Systems Manager tool.
