Can someone help me for switching my lotus notes emails to ms outlook?

I am planning to switch from Lotus Notes environment to MS Outlook email client for better email management. If I transfer my email data information from Notes to Outlook using an outside email migration tool, will it transfer as it is or there will be alterations in the data


I can't understand and feeling helpless so please suggest me a better conversion tool to convert my lotus notes info...
