I am composing an article into Microsoft Publisher. The text is formatted into two columns with a line inserted between the columns. In a couple of locations, I have inserted a picture which spans both columns. So far, so good. I then insert a text box below the picture that also spans both columns so I can add a caption to the picture. The caption text box is formatted for one column so that the caption will run from border to border below the picture. The problem is that the line between columns also runs through the caption text box. It doesn't run through the picture, just the caption text box. Even though the caption in the text box is one column, the line between columns on the rest of the page runs through the caption text box too. How can I delete this line in the caption text box without deleting the line between columns in the rest of the document? The usual "format text box" options don't work. I am using Microsoft Publisher 2003 and have Windows Vista Home Premium.
