Acer t160 Video Controller (VGA Compatible) missing

I have a Acer t160 laptop that is 2-3 years old. So I did a reformat and reinstallation of the OS and later on found out that I didnt make a backup of drivers for the laptop. However, I was able to find all the drivers except the Video Controller driver for this laptop. So can anyone tell me how to solve this Video Controller (VGA Compatible) missing error message for this laptop. Thank you

You can go to the original Acer website and download all the missing drivers for your laptop model from here. Before installing any drivers, set a System Restore Point just for some safety and I think the chipset drivers will be able to sort out all the problems that you are facing.

If its your video card driver that is needed then install your chipset drivers from the motherboard setup cd and then check standby is enabled in the bios. You can also go to the motherboard manufacturers site and download it.
