Nero express 2 shutdown

Hi,
I was burning some converted avi files on dvd using nero express 2. It was showing hours to finish the process without any progress. Just showing the different time frequently. After some time it showed not responding message and automatically shutdown. What is wrong with nero? Any suggestions?

You are still using nero express 2? Are you living in stone age? There is nero 9 available now. So download and install latest version and try to burn again. The latest version will support all operating system and function properly.

Your computer may be infected with virus. So update your antivirus and scan your all drives. Make sure it will delete all infections if found. Also check the files and size of the same. Don't overload the dvd which you are using to burn. If the DVD is not compatible with nero or files then it may not burn.

Check the history and the log file. If your computer is invected before, it may corrupt some files which needs to burn dvds. So check it and try to repair the errors. You will find log files in Program Files>Nero>NeroHistory.txt
