Application to play mv4 files like itunes

I have just found out that i cant play mv4 files in any other application leaving itunes I really hate itunes what else plays mv4 files ? I need a mv4 files support application ,which can replace itunes with it .

You can use Quicktime instead of itune or you could just do is Switch the .m4v to .mp4, then it becomes a regular .mp4 file, The file are same its just that Apple switched the file extension .

What is .m4v - MP4 is a container format. As any other container format like AVI (.avi), RealMedia (.rm, .rmvb), QuickTime (.mov), MPEG (.mpg, .mpeg), Matroska (.mkv, .mka), OGM (.ogm) it allows you to combine different multimedia streams (mostly audio and video) into one single file. And .m4v is .mp4 files with the WRONG extension introduced by Apple for video+audio.

You cant play m4v on any other application other then itune or Quicktime. you can play this file by renaming them to mp4 on any othere application and if that doesnt work it should be a PROTECTED m4v file, try to convert them with some third party software .you can search m4v convert in google.
