sad MS Outlook 2003 with Home and Student Edition Office 2007?

In the past, I've used MS Office 2003 with no problem, and it was the standard version. I looked at the MS website and saw there was an update for 2007 and fell in love with the capabilities of OneNote. I noticed though, that Outlook wasn't included in the Home and Student Edition. Is it possible to use Home and Student Edition and then keep Outlook 2003? or is that a 'no-no'? If I can't do that, would I have to buy the Ultimate version? It's not really in my budget to spend $650 on MS Office.

    Any suggestions welcome!

If it's just for mail and an address book there are alternatives, of course, that certainly won't interfere with Office 2007. But if you use it tasks and calender also it's more difficult to replace, if need arises. It's astonishing to see that Microsoft apparently thinks Home and Student users don't have tasks or use a calender. They position Outlook as a business tool, stressing the interoperability with Exchange Server and Sharepoint Server. I think Mixing Office versions sometimes has issues. I've got no experience at all with this particular combination. If no answer comes from anybody who does (positive or negative) you'd better contact Microsoft Sales dept. They should know, because they are supposed to know their products. But you risk being told that it's not tested and not supported, so you do it on your own risk.

Alright. I need Outlook to sync with my Blackberry. It's the only way to sync up my calendar, that I found anyways, that doesn't require an unlimited data package.

I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't made a version that has Home and Student, along with Outlook or Outlook Express. Either would be fine. =/

Would it be easier to just buy Outlook 2007 separately? I think you can buy it online on many sites like eBay and PriceGrabber, and even then, those have their own risks, such as pirated copies et cetera.
