Hello everyone, and some of you are probably rolling their eyes, another one?
Well, I've searched the forum, but none of the threads have given me the solution that works.
My windows live messenger on my XP SP3 operating system is not working. It starts up, and does everything but sign in to an account. It gives the rotating messenger icon for a while, but then simply returns to the first screen, no error message or anything.
I tried troubleshooting on the live page, but that doesnt give me anything useful.
I tried some options I found with google, like fidgeting with the registry, which doesnt work either.
I tried reinstalling, which doesnt make it better.
I also installed MSN Messenger 5.0, which works brilliantly.
The thing is, I hate 5.0, its ugly as nobodies business.
My messenger works fine on my laptop, but come on, it should be able to work on a PC, right?!
Anyway, looking forward for some help.
Sorry for the double thread, my internet jolted, haha! I can assure you that that isn't the problem though.
