photoshop color transition effect

Hi,

I want to make a transition effect for photoshop image. Is it possible to give such effect to some text?
Can anyone help me?

Color Transition in Photoshop

1. Open a new document 400x400 and press D. hat sets the Background to Black and Foreground to White.

2. Filter-> Render-> Clouds..

3. Press ctrl+u. Check Colorize box

Hue: 0
Saturation: 25
Lightness: 0

4. Create a new layer. (shift+ctrl+n)

5. Chosoe the Gradient Tool.
