To install iTunes or QuickTime software, you must be logged on the computer as an administrator. If you are not certain to have administrative access, please contact the owner of the computer or your system administrator.

The first thing to do to troubleshoot a Windows installation and verify that you have installed the latest updates to Windows. To do this, visit Microsoft Windows Update website. The iTunes and QuickTime software for Windows works with Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Vista with the Recent Service Pack

Re: Itunes is Not a Valid Win32 Application

When installing iTunes for Windows, it is possible that the installation is not performed and that Windows displays the following message: "iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application."

    Here is the Solution

In some cases, the act of downloading iTunes via a other web browser may resolve the problem. but If you do not have any other browsers and then use Internet Explorer, and follow these steps to delete Internet files that prevent the installation of iTunes:

Delete all copies of the iTunesSetup.exe file on that computer.

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Select Tools> Delete Browsing History.
    3. Click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files section.
    4. Click Yes.
    5. Click Close.
    6. Quit Internet Explorer and open it.
    7. Download and reinstall iTunes.
