A few days after the beta, here is the finalized version of the latest drivers for GeForce graphics cards, stamped 190.38. This first edition of the branch 190 opens memory to support OpenGL 3.1 and the next version of CUDA 2.3, which now operates in passing multiple cards in a SLI configuration without restrictions.
Available for Windows XP, Vista and 7, 32 and 64 bits, these are new drivers for all cards of the GeForce 6 and higher generations. In the models supported, we note also the presence of the last born of the firm, G210 and GT 220, and a product that has not yet been officially announced, "ION", that is assumed to be an economic version of the chip Ion.
The G210 (photo) displays memory compatibility for DirectX 10.1. It has 16 processing units to 1402 MHz, while the rest of the chip running at 589 Mhz, and is accompanied by 512 MB GDDR2 500 MHz on a 64 bit interface. Also for computer manufacturers, the GT220 lifted its 48 processing units at 1335 MHz, the rest of the chip is 615 MHz. It also supports DirectX 10.1, it comes with 1 GB of GDDR3 memory at 790 MHz on a 128 bit interface.
