How to select Excel cell without mouse

I am running a Toshiba laptop with touch pad but i think the touch pad is having some problem and not working properly. So i am having trouble to select a cell in Excel 2007. When i do the same task with a mouse, it acts as though I am permanently holding down the left mouse button and select multiple cells. Do you guys have any idea how can i select Excel cell without mouse ?

You can simply select or go to any cell in Excel by doing this:

    • Press Ctrl + G. This will open a GO TO dialog box.

    • Type the Column + row number where you want to go. For example you need to go to 24 row in C column, then type C24 and press Enter.

    • Now copy the cell by Ctrl + C or press F2 to select any part of the text in the cell by using Shift + arrow key.

Also try this, Go To Control Panel,Open Mouse Settings. On Buttons Tab, Untick the ClickLock Box.
