Hello , I Want to uninstall the Catalyst Control Center how to remove the “Catalyst Control Center” item from the desktop context menu? the reason is In the window, I got a crashed with this information: "Catalyst Control Center: Host application has stopped working" and there was more Text below: "A problem has been detected and the program has stopped functioning properly. Windows will close the program and tell you if a solution is available." , please help thanks in advance

Hello ,click start then Run and type in regedit and delete the value of Ati at these locations:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ * \ shell
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ * \ Shellex \ ContextMenuHandlers

Attempts to uninstall it as you do it normally. Then finally clean your system, I Would Suggest download and installing a 'Driver Cleaner Pro. In the filters you put all the elements ATI. This will delete all files and entries in the registry. You can also clean your registry database to a good Registry Cleaner software (Optional).

uninstalled the CCC and Download the latest drivers WITHOUT the CCC. from the ati website , Some people have had this problem with ATI Catalyst Control Center and found numerous errors in their event log. You can then try to find an update for the program or uninstall it if it is not necessary. You can Remove/uninstall it from context menu , for this , Open regedit and goto KEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\ACE and remove the key named “ACE”
