Well, there is solution, but it is not quite so simple (Entourage 2001 running on OS 9 or Classic, so it deprives other solutions). In Entourage 2004, you drag messages to a folder on the desktop (do not take too big package at a time, I believe that over 2001, it is problematic). Then you transfer your file on your machine at Entourage 2004 and you can also do the reverse movement in Entourage 2001. This time, you should not have any problem.
