How to remove internet explorer?

Hi,

I want to remove this internet explorer program by Microsoft.

I opened control panel & searched for add remove programs but I could not find it there.

Can anyone please let me know How to remove Internet Explorer?

Can you tell us where exactly you are looking for internet explorer in the add remove programs? It should be in windows programs add remove programs. Its difficult to tell the uninstallation process without knowing your operating system.
If you can see it there let us know if its internet explorer 7 or 8?
if you want to uninstall IE7 or IE8.

To Disable Internet Explorer

There are several techniques to disable Internet Explorer

One is as follows:
1. From IE select Tools/Internet Options/Connections/LAN Settings.
2. Now select checkbox to enable next to "Use a Proxy Server for your LAN ...”
3. Now type "0.0.0.0" in address box & "80" in port without quote
Click Done In this way you have set up a dummy proxy server that goes to nowhere. Now your Internet explorer wont work.

Hey please note this:
If you disable Internet explorer then a lot of browsers wont get updated.
I have tried this & found that due to this i can not get my spyware, antivirus & security programs including firewall wont get updated.
Why you want to remove Internet explorer?
