How to change reply signature settings in Outlook

I am using Microsoft Outlook for my emails. I have created a signature for the emails that I compose. My problem is that this signature will also appear for the emails which I reply or forward. But I don't want this. How can I change the reply and forward signature settings in outlook?

To create a new signature for the emails that you reply or forward, follow these steps:

    1. On the Mail Format tab, click Signatures.
    2. In the Create Signature dialog box, click New.
    3. In the Enter a name for your new signature box, type a name for your new reply signature, and then click Next.
    4. In the Signature text box, type the reply signature that you want, and then click Finish.
    5. Click OK to close the Create Signature dialog box.
    6. Change the Signature for replies and forwards box to the reply signature that you created in steps 1 through 5.
    7. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.

The above method is helpful if your message format is HTML. If your e-mail editor is Microsoft Word then follow this steps:

    1. From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
    2. In the Compose in this message format list, click the message format that the signature is used with.
    3. Under Signature, click Signatures.
    4. Click the signature you want to change, and then click Edit .
    5. In the Signature text box, type the text you want to include in the signature.
    6. To change the paragraph or font format, select the text, click Font or Paragraph, and then select the options you want.

Re: How to change reply signature settings in Outlook

Outlook does this for a very good reason. Unless it is said to change the signature, it uses the same signature for each and every emails that are sent. However if you don't want then you can either create a new signature so that you will have different signatures for different types of emails or just change the replying or forwarding email signatures as guided earlier. It completely depends on you and your needs. Which ever you feels convenient you can follow.
