Re: How to get windows movie maker project from XP to Vista

MSWMM file is a Movie Maker project file.
It do not carry any movie or audio clip but it carries the project information such as file names, location & the work done in the project.
For example the movie credits made & edited all the copy & pest works on files, the effects & transitions applies to the slides etc. & many more things. Thus if you need to open a project file in Vista system then along with the project file you will need to import all the necessory media files used in the project & place them to the exact file location as they were before.

The problem you guys are facing is due to following reasons

    1. You are not moving the project files such as image, video, sound to your Vista machine.
    2. IF your doing the step 1 then you must place the files in the same location as they were in XP machine.
    3. IF you have done above things then your program file must run if its placed in correct location.
Finally if that do not help please click on the red X & brows for the perticular file.
