Volmgr.sys page fault in a nonpaged area

I'm running Windows Vista as my operating system. The problem is that whenever i try to turn on my pc and start working on it, i get BSOD error message on my desktop screen stating the following error:

volmgr.sys page fault in a nonpaged area
    stop: 0x00000000 (0xffffffff, 0x00000000, 0xffffffff, 0x00000000)
Can any body tell me that what does this error message means? Does any body knows about it? Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue. Any kind of information on the above issue would be appreciated.

I think you should run a virus scan on your system, making sure you have the latest DAT files loaded for your system, then try to run Spybot S&D to check for spyware / malware.

Try to disable auto reboot option on your system. In order to do that you need to Right click on My Computer, then select properties. Then click on Advanced, select Startup and Recovery Settings and you need to just uncheck Automatically Restart option.
