File name invalid or too large - Error in iTunes consolidate library

I have brought a new hard drive and i need to shift my itunes to the now 500GB hard drive where i will be keeping my multimedia collections. I thought using consolidate library might help in this case, as i had not made a copy for some tracks. Well when i started, it gave me an error saying 'File name invalid or too large' Some files and folders were moved but the majority were not moved... Any help!? Thanks!

There is a java utility you can use to find the long names or invalid file names for itunes. According to me, iTunes support file name upto 36 characters only. Any file name that is larger will be invalid or file names will be truncked. But i haven't used any such utility as i never had this problem. All the best though...
