Internet explorer 8 final version

I am using Internet explorer 7. I am looking for internet explorer 8. I don't want to use beta versions as it creates many errors. Internet explorer final version is out? If yes, then where to get it?

You can download Internet Explorer 8 from their official site. Internet explorer 8 is a competition for Mozilla Firefox. IE8 has added several new and improved security features like the private browsing mode, automatic crash recovery, domain highlighting or Cross Site Scripting (XSS) and SmartScreen filters. There are also additional usability features like Accelerators or Web Slices which have been implemented into Internet Explorer 8.

You can download Internet Explorer 8 only from microsoft's official website. But internet explorer 8 is not faster than firefox and other browsers. It may be because of the improved security features. I would stick to Fifrefox rather than going fro IE8.
