Why outlook connector prompts for password

I installed Microsoft Office Outlook Connector to access my Hotmail email messages right from my Outlook. But now Outlook Connector keeps on prompting me for the password and after about 3 attempts, it fails saying it couldn't sign in to my hotmail account.Why is that so ? How can i fix this problem? Please help

However, the ordinary HTTP Hotmail account access method no longer work, and Hotmail user requires to sign up for paid Hotmail Plus subscription service. But Outlook connector make it possible. After installing Outlook Connector, it will prompt user to enter Hotmail email address, password and sender name to tag with outgoing email. Once the information is entered, a new Hotmail folder will be added to the Outlook’s Mail Folders tree.

If your prompted again and again fpr the password from Outlook connector, than try this:-

• uninstall outlook connector from the control panel
  
• uninstall outlook from your install cd
  
• remove all keys in the registry that have "msncon.dll" in them
  
• remove all keys in the registry that have "outlook connector" in them
  
• remove all .pst files
  
• remove all temp files
  
• use a registry cleaner *(i use RegCleaner 4.2 by Jouni Vuorio)
  
• restart
  
• reinstall office outlook

Try to change your password using a password not used before and reconfigure your account again. After reconfigure your account and check if your password works when you sign in to web interface (http://mail.live.com).
