    Extract data from one workbook to another

    I have four excel files in excel 2007 and i would like to extract data from that four excel file and create a new excel file for Analyzing data. Column B in four file is the roll no. The files are formated in exact same way so it arrange in one directory. The output file means the new file should create a new row for each file.Can anyone help!!!

    These row in new file would be split up for that four workbook by Roll no. Which means there will be as many workbook as there are roll no column. As per the given code if you assign the value column of four excel file to the row of new excel file.

    If you want to get data from cell of one sheet and copy data in to another sheet. you can do this in following way:
    Right click that cell it will show menu, select "Get Cell Permalink" .Copy and paste link in another cell or new excel file. Next in the other spreadsheet where you want to get the data to, select the cell and use the WEB() function.
