Can't install MSN under Vista

I can't able to install msn messenger in windows vista system.when i try to install it connection wizard would fail to complete the installation and it shows the msnmetal.dll error.Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

msnmetal.dll (msnmetal) is a component from the software Microsoft(R) MSN (R) Communications System version 7.2.2202 by Microsoft Corporation. msnmetal.dll high CPU (processor) or memory usage, how xp application use it, fix faulting / crashing aplication, exe has encountered a problem, start removal, repair or correct msnmetal.dll and is most commonly found under the directory "MSNCoreFiles". This is not a known spyware, adware, or trojan component.

If msnmetal.dll is running on your PC, you should verify that it is authentic. A file name alone is insufficient for identification. Run ProgramChecker Personal Edition and FileAnalyzer to be sure you are running the actual version.you can also use msn messenger without installing.
