Cannot write DVDs with Nero 8

Hi all,
I am using windows XP. I want to write dvds. But when i start writing process, it hangs and ask for restart. i have no idea, what is wrong. Can anyone fix it?

You can try using another burning softwares. There are many free softwares available for writing DVDs. Try burnmyfiles burning software. It is one click CD and DVD burning software.

There must be something wrong with your CD or DVD writer. Borrow or buy another writer and try to burn dvd again. Also check these threads:

Check following:

• Update the firmware on the dvd drive from manufacturer's website.
• Your files that you are trying to burn are corrupt.
• The format of the files are not supported.
