    The root of system drive is missing in English version of Windows 7 32bit

    The big bug ever made by Microsoft with the latest release of Windows 7 English version 32bit candidate of built 7100. The bug is the file which is created as a file root of the reader system (% SystemDrive%) entered missing its descriptor of safety. One of the effects of this problem is that the standard of the users such as the not-administrators cannot to discharge from all the operations of under-files which are created directly under the root. Consequently, applications of reference of files under the May root not to install successfully or May of not uninstaller correctly. Moreover, of the operations or the applications of reference of these files may fail.

    The following error message appears when the operation fails :

    Access is denied.

    For those customers who are affected by this problem, the fix is available through Windows Update:

    1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    2. Depending on which Control Panel view you use, Classic or Category, do one of the following:
      • Click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
      • Click Performance and Maintenance, click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
    3. Click the option that you want. Make sure Automatic Updates is not turned off.

    A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

    You must have Windows 7 Release Candidate 32-bit Ultimate installed to apply this hotfix.

    You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.

    File information :
    The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time.
