Itunes error 5002

hi
i have windows xp ,i am using iTunes 8.0 for synchronizing my Ipod 80gb. before i was using 7.6 now i try to shop online first time and i got error “We could not complete your iTunes Store Request An unknown error occurred (5002). There was an error in the Itunes Store Please try again later” can any one tell me what is wrong ?

If you follow the below instructions:

• First go for back up Mobile Applications from /Users/myusername/Music/iTunes
• open iTunes disconnect your ipod from computer from itune and select all your applications and delete them.
• then quit iTunes Start iTunes again and verify every thing is deleted
• Drag your backup Mobile Applications folder to open iTunes if you have default iTunes settings iTunes will start re-adding your applications.
• Please check the iTunes notices carefully if you receive a any mesage then make selection like this replace an OLDER version of this app already exists, or dont replace a NEWER version of this app already exists, or replace this app already exists as the same version
• Quit iTunes, then restart it

instead of doing this just download new version itune 8.1 or itune 8.2 newer version comes with good fixes ..
