To display your presentation as a web page you need to upload the file that has the .htm extension and the folder. For this reason it is better to have both of these contained in one folder. How you do this depends on the method that you usually use to upload web pages.
    Uploading using Fetch (Mac) :
Decide where on your web site you wish to place your web presentation folder
Then use Fetch (Mac) and upload the whole folder. Go up to the menu -> select Remote -> Put Folders and Files -> Click Add for adding the folder -> click on the Done button

Re: How to save powerpoint presentation as webpage?

Most webpages are written in HTML, as recognized by the .htm or .html extension code that follows the filename. The template for making a PowerPoint into one webpage involves creating an HTML file.
The "Save as Web Page" in PowerPoint allows an existing PowerPoint presentation to be saved as type: "Single File Web Page”, which results in an MHT file and “Saved as type: Web Page”, which results in an HTML file.
