hi,
Opening a document, which focuses on the hard disk or the network Click Open. When you open a document that is in another folder has been saved, locate and open that folder.Double-click to open the document. If a folder in the Folder List is not displayed, you can search for it. In Word, you can access the file at the bottom of the menu file.If the list of last opened documents is not displayed, click the General tab (Tools menu, Options command). Check the box MRU list files.
you can give the link to desktop and launch Word instead simply click on it.even it is also called by shortcut used to set the template .To do this right click on the link and then enter the desired shortcut combination (eg Ctrl + Alt + X).
you can stored some templates in the startup folder of Word and the templates which are stored in the startup folder will be appearafter startup and they are also visible in the VB editor.
