Text tool not working in photoshop

Hi,
I can no more use text tool in photoshop. I keep getting the following message: "Could not complete your request because something prevented the text from being initialized. "
Anyone have any idea? Need Help!

End the project that you are working on and restart the photoshop. Try after restarting your computer. If nothing works then try uninstall and reinstalling photoshop.

First remove all of the fonts that were installed by Photoshop. These fonts will all bare the date that you installed PS. You can do this by simple dragging them out of your fonts folder (Windows) into another folder. Just uninstall all fonts Photoshop installed. It worked for me.

Follow these steps to solve the text tool error message:
Close all adobe applications running

• Go to C drive
• Then double click on Documents and Settings
• Go to your username
• Open Local Settings Folder
• Open Application Data Folder
• Open Adobe Folder
• Open TypeSupport Folder
• Delete everything inside the TypeSupport Folder
