    Firefox comes to revision 3.0.9

    "Fixed several security bugs in the new revision of the popular Firefox browser, available in versions for Windows, Linux and Mac"

    It's been released version 3.0.9 of the popular Firefox browser, which have been resolved many security issues while leaving unchanged the fact of the structure to use the browser. Here are the details for each version available for the 3 main operating systems:

    Firefox 3.0.9 Windows

    Firefox 3.0.9 Linux

    Firefox 3.0.9 Mac


    3.0.9 final version in English of the Firefox browser for Windows operating systems. Below the main innovations introduced in this version:

    Fixed several security issues.
    Fixed several stability issues.
    Many users experienced an issue where a corrupt local database caused Firefox to "lose" its stored cookies. (bug 470578)
    Fixed an issue where, starting with Firefox 3.0.7, inline image attachments on popular webmail services (like AOL and AIM) would not display. (bug 482659)
    Large forms would sometimes take a long time to submit. (bug 426991)
    In certain cases, new windows would not have proper focus. (bug 446568)
