    Hello everyone,

    OS: Vista 32bit
    Graphic: Ati Radeon 9600 series
    Sound: Sound Blaster (latest card)
    Processor: P4 3.0
    Ram: 1 GB

The programs are working fine but I face problems when I want to watch the movies or video files. the problem is I am not getting any video playback. I hear sound but no video.

    plz help....

I think there might be some compatibility problem with your video/graphic card and the drivers. Get the latest drivers installed in your system that are very well compatible with your video card.

Install ATI Catalyst Display Driver. This is the driver for your graphic card.

AMD has moved a number of DX9 ATI Radeon graphics accelerators products to a legacy driver support structure. This change impacts Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Linux distributions.
AMD has moved to a legacy software support structure for these graphics accelerator products in an effort to better focus development resources on future products.

AMD may periodically provide Windows XP and Windows Vista driver updates for critical fixes only. No new features will be provided in future driver updates.

Try following steps.......I hope they must work

    1. Open VLC media player.
    2. Click on Settings and select Preferences… .
    3. Expand Video and click on Output modules.
    4. Check Advanced options in the lower right corner.
    5. Set Video output module to either “DirectX“, “OpenGL” or “Windows GDI“
