The fix was reported in 7000 the beta (it dates back to early February 2009).

It has certainly been included in the Build 7057. There is therefore no need to install on Build 7057.

However when i try to install and run: Update for Windows 7 Client Beta for x64-based Systems (KB962236)

It says: The update is not applicable to your computer

This update will only install on Windows 7 Beta build 7000.

The cbs.log file under \Windows\logs\cbs can provide additional info on what might be causing the package to fail to install if you are attempting install on build 7000.
