msnmsgs.msi file missing - uninstalling MSN messenger 7

Hi,
My msn messenger 7 is not working. When i try to uninstall it, says msnmsgs.msi file missing. I want to uninstall and update my messenger. Can anybody help me?

That file comes with MSN Messenger when you download it. It's the MSN Messenger Windows Installer Package. If you download the latest version from MSN Messenger and then save it to your desktop (instead of using the automated installer) it should work for you.

Find MsnMsgs.msi and double click on it and then use the repair option. You would find MsnMsgs.msi by using 'Search' => 'All Files and Folders'

To remove MSN messenger use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility 1.0. Follow this steps:

• Install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
• Run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
• Remove any instance of MSN Messenger from the list
• Reinstall MSN Messenger
