Problem to launch The Gimp

I post here because I have a problem with Gimp 2. I am under Vista. I installed gimp not long ago but it does not want to launch when I click on the icon, it opens the small window where it loads the pallets, etc ... But it hangs on loading pallets! I uninstalling and reinstalling several times but always the same problem. Can you help me?

Thank you for your help but I have not loaded a pack of police, I have only the default fonts of Windows.
