Burning DVD on Windows PC for MAC

Hello!

I want to gift a friend a DVD, but the problem is that he is having a MAC PC and i'm on windows PC (windows xp), So just searching a way to burn my DVD from windows that can also read on iDVD .

How can I do to burn it? Is it possible? What DVD buy / what software to use / what options to choose?

dmgs are the mac version of image files.

dmg = discimage = iso

Rename the dmg to *.iso and burn it.
no pc can read dmg files. but it can burn the iso which will work on ever amc afterwards.

Go to this site:

Now download the binary version unless you have perl running already.

Pull up a command prompt and run dmg2iso it will give you instructions but is basically like this "dmg2iso filename.dmg filename.iso"

Once converted fire up nero and select the iso file. Nero will automatically burn it as a hfs formatted disk.
